The money in question is not the paltry sums paid to climate scientists to carry out their work. It’s the trillions of dollars made by fossil fuel companies.
Starting in the 1980s, the fossil fuel industry and think tanks have been funding lobbying companies and paying unscrupulous writers eyewatering sums to tell lies and misleading half-truths about the role of humans in climate change.
That’s the real hoax!
