It’s eco-zealots who don’t live in the real world

The argument being made here is that many people struggle to make ends meet and helping them should be the priority rather than tackling climate change.

But, that’s saying two wrongs make a right. Many people do indeed struggle to pay the bills but that doesn’t mean it’s OK to vandalize the planet. In fact, quite the opposite as the costs of climate change will be disproportionately inflicted on those least able to pay.

Both problems can be tackled given responsible political leadership.
